I am firmly grounded,
I witness corruption,
But I can only stand still.

I bend for nothing,
but you can break me,
and make me something.

I know the wind,
I've seen life's pain,
I know it's sting.

I breathe like any,
I know the suffering,
Just like many.

I am a tree,
I've seen too many,
Use my body,
as a means to an end.

One day I am here,
