I chew through my nails, I can't think of help.
My dreams try to lie, they tell me that everything is alright.
I am crawling in my skin again, so I cut my way in.
Fighting myself to live, but pieces of me die in the end.
I am strong having lived through what I have, but I am weak for choosing the things that hurt me further in the end.
I am at an impasse, with no way forward and no way back.

Killing Strangers

You blame the gun and not the hand that used it!?
People will blame everyone and everything else but themselves for the problems in the world.
Problems you could easily repair with more tolerance, compassion and support for the freedom of each of us to be ourselves.
You ask for change, but what you really mean is to change us.
You ask for unity,
but only if we align ourselves to your cause.
You ask for peace,
but you stand for war the moment you don't like the
compromised.
And you wonder why we are killing ourselves and each other?
You blame the gun and not the hand that used it!?

the rolling of eyes as the breathe is taken,
a memory elapses from the mistakes made therein.
Seek the poison,
Seek the dark,
find your reasons to depart,
from this world and it's horrors,
from this world and it's faults.
There will be no augment nor there be a fight.
not against you,
for what you know is right.
So take the drink,
and end this fight,
take the medicine and
end this night.
Ease all pain
and be free,
rest forever in this sea of trees.
