Sub-Correlation.

Who would ask a Bird to swim or a fish to fly?
Yet I must be something I am not.

Should I comfort you with a smile?
Do all the lies ease your mind?
So you; like the rest of the world; are in fact just so satisfied with what you believe.
A forest is a forest, even if it only has two trees to you.
And I am happy; a smile is what you see, so it must be true.

But I have seen the sun and moon out together, so is it night? or is it day?
And you assume that a child is happy; because they are playing, not because they are a child ,
and children play.

If everything has a purpose, then even the darkness does too.

And if I say I am nothing,
But you say I am a self, a thing of some worth or value, then who is right?
For I can measure nothing,
and all meaning you place is only yours.

Who is greater; the hero? or the villain?
without the villain, how could the hero ever rise?

Relinquish your hope, for you enter the grounds of the lost ones, dispirited and rejected.

Leave your sword and pick up some black roses,

For all is dead, all will die, all will become death again.

"Death To Death"
Dark my days,
Dark my nights,
Dark my soul has lost its light.

Dark my dreams,
Dark this being,
Dark its heart now lost its sheen.

Into the nothing,
Into the void,
Into the space,
Now what are you looking for?

Death to thoughts,
and death to dreams,
Death to hope for better things.

Death to me, my and I,
Death to self and things of mine,
Death to pain, anger and hate,
Death to death now there is no escape.

Stones in my belly,
thorns on my skin,
the ants are crawling,
while the worms find their way in.
There is no resting,
I am being eaten alive,
the worms have teeth,
this bird no life.

Even the earth is biting,
it's bidding me to hell tonight,
the dirt is climbing,
there is no escape from death this time.
The sun is setting,
as the night calls forth,
my mind is shedding,
my heart is in reverse,
the air is leaving,
my time its turn.
